The theft occurred just before 7:30 p.m. Friday at Storage Sense, 7201 U.S. 301 S. The entire operation lasted about 3½ minutes and played out right in front of a video camera at the storage yard.

On its website, Storage Sense advertises electronic access with code and 24-hour recorded cameras.

The video above shows one man getting out of the pickup and apparently testing the lock on the trailer. He gets back inside and the pickup loops around the property to pull in front of the trailer. Two men get of the truck and hitch up the trailer as the woman appears to serve as lookout.

One of the men is about 5-foot-7 and 200 pounds with a short beard, wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt and black pants. The other is about 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds with short hair, wearing a tan baseball cap, white t-shirt and blue jeans. The woman appears to be wearing her hair in a ponytail and is dressed in a black tank top and black shorts.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (813) 247-8200. To be eligible for a cash reward, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at www.crimestopperstb.com or send a mobile tip using our P3 Tips Mobile application.
